Presse release – A rehabilitation in rhythm and color!
Habitat Beaujolais Val de Saône (HBVS), a social housing company and subsidiary of Alliade Habitat/Groupe Action Logement, is currently completing the thermal renovation of its La Chartonnière residence in Gleizé.
HBVS, concerned about the maintenance and image of its heritage, has entrusted CitéCréation, a world leader in monumental wall design, with the embellishment of facades following the thermal renovation from the outside.
The objective is to give back a very singular elegance and an aesthetic qualification to this complex of 80 residences, located at the northern entrance of the agglomeration of Villefranche-sur-Saône.
A participatory approach is launched to invite the inhabitants to express their ideas during the design phase.
The narrative theme “Journey through the 4 seasons” is chosen and validated by the tenants.
From the end of March, you will be able to discover this route in Caladoise soil with the realization of four magnificent monumental wall frescos, accompanied by a colouring of structured and elegant facades.

Habitat Beaujolais Val de Saône was created in 1897 by local company managers to house their staff. Today, it manages more than 5,000 housing units located mainly in the urban area of Villefranche-sur-Saône, while being present in rural Beaujolais, Saône-et-Loire and Ain.
By offering, depending on the sites and their needs, social rental housing, intermediate rental housing or even social home ownership, Habitat BVS deliberately promotes social diversity and balanced development in the region. Thus, construction programs sometimes include local businesses, premises for the liberal professions or associations… and even public buildings such as a town hall.
In close collaboration with its parent company Alliade Habitat, within the Action Logement group, HBVS is a company made up of men and women involved, employees and directors, sharing a strong desire for development and innovation in line with its time.
HBVS celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2017.

The inauguration of the entire rehabilitation of the residence is scheduled for September 2018.
