The seven grands crus of Chablis
In Chablis (Yonne department in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region), a town renowned for its seven crus, Domanys, the Public Housing Office, is renovating its built heritage using an external thermal insulation system to improve both the energy performance of the homes and make the living environment more attractive.
At the same time, Domanys called on the expertise of CitéCréation muralist designers who, with the active participation of residents, designed the models on the theme of wine in the Chablis region. For the Chablaisiens, the theme of the seven crus was obvious.
You can now see the muralists perched on the scaffolding. They are creating two murals on the gables that can be seen from the street and soon these will start the entrances of buildings.
Changing the image of the neighborhood with the active participation of the tenants gives an extra soul to the neighborhood, a better living environment and pride to the inhabitants.
