The mural “The party” – Oyonnax – France

The city of Oyonnax has undergone a major transformation in recent years, with the will of the mayor, Mr Perraud, who has launched a vast operation to beautify his town.

Entire districts have been rehabilitated, culminating in the creation of a monumental mural route.

Thanks to Urban Renewal Programs carried out by the ANRU, the municipality wanted the creation of a mural monumental design route. The ninth mural has just been unveiled in the newly renovated Croix-Rousse district.

This mural is dedicated to the Flower Festival, ancestor of the class parade.

“I wish Oyonnax Beautiful, with a big B.
I wish to awaken in each of you this sensitivity, which will allow us to enjoy a pleasant City, where life is good, a peaceful City where differences fade, because as Voltaire himself said “If we are not sensitive, we are never sublime”.
