Mural of Sport and Energy – Oyonnax (France)

This 8th mural, designed and created by CitéCréation, completes the route of the walls painted in Oyonnax (two other murals will be created in autumn of 2018).

Commissioned by Dynacité, a major player in real estate in the Rhône-Alpes region and owner of the building, support for the fresco; this new mural highlights Oyonnax’s sporting and energetic talents, it represents all the sports practised, gymnastics, swimming, and displays the values of the rugby team, placed and the Top 14 French clubs…

The City of Oyonnax is one of the 90 cities in France which can display the prestigious laurels of the “Active and Sports City” label. In addition, the mural represents Oyonnax, a sustainable city with themes of water, hydroelectricity, wind and solar energy.

As for the previous murals, the Municipality has chosen to call upon the benefactors to finance this work which classifies the city among the most attractive in cultural and artistic matters, thus adding to its industrial and sporting assets. Oyonnax was recently awarded the Award of the Art Trophy by the FNCOF.
