The Lyon-based group has just completed a fundraising campaign to accelerate its development in France. The company welcomes the Banque des Territoires as the reference shareholder for its capital.

The CitéCréation cooperative company, specialized in monumental wall design and murals, announces a €300,000 fundraising campaign to accelerate its development in France.

The Lyon-based company is hosting a pool of investors led by the Banque des Territoires, which is contributing €100,000 to the operation and is becoming a reference shareholder with 15% of the capital.

“As part of our development, we sought to partner with an investor who is not just a financier, but who fully shares our state of mind. The Banque des Territoires seemed to us to be the best partner for this by seeking to reconcile economic efficiency and social performance as closely as possible to local stakeholders,” say Halim Bensaïd and Lionel Toutain Rosec, co-managers of CitéCréation.

Founded 40 years ago, CitéCréation (10 employees including 6 partners) studies, conceives and realizes monumental mural design projects that range from narrative murals to the overall ornamental embellishment of buildings and neighbourhoods in the construction or rehabilitation phase. The company operates on different types of buildings: housing, infrastructure, public and private facilities…

“2019 is a pivotal year for our company with the entry of the Caisse des Dépôts / Banque des Territoires group into our capital in order to support our Scale-Up. This is in addition to obtaining the approval of Entreprise Solidaire d’Utilité Sociale (ESUS) by the Ministry of Economy,” the group reports in a press release.
