CitéCréation is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It employs twelve people, including seven partners.

In addition, CitéCréation trains muralist painters whose principle is based on the principle of companionship. This company has just won a contract at Confluence (Lyon-France), the details of which have not yet been revealed. Other recent achievements deserve to be known.

At the beginning of 2018, three monumental design mural were created in the Vallonnière district, which has 500 housing units. These painted walls trace the history of silk, from the Croix-Rousse in the 9th arrondissement to the construction of the Fourvière tunnel. “We do everything we can to fight against the standardization of buildings. These murals tell a collective story,” says Lionel Toutain Rosec, associate co-director. In Lyon, the Tony Garnier Urban Museum will be updated. As part of the rehabilitation of the district, Grand Lyon Habitat has demonstrated its commitment to this urban project. The inhabitants have raised new themes such as mobility with the arrival of the T6. Work is ongoing.

In Villefranche, this time, buildings built in the 1960s to accommodate Bledina employees were wall designed. “Older people remember those days. They reminded us of the existence of a wood next to the district in the past,” explains Lionel Toutain Rosec, “We took up this idea of nature and integrated four murals, each one covering a season of the year.
